Science Beginnings is looking for amazing Lead Teachers and enthusiastic Teacher's Aides.

We are a premier Science Enrichment company based in the East Bay that introduces children to science through exciting, stimulating and fun experiments.
Your Job
- You will supervise campers at all times.
- Help implement various activities- You take attendance, hand out supplies, plan games, move around and help students, and maintain order. In fact, you are the glue that keeps the camp going smoothly.
- Make sure high standards of health and safety are maintained.
- Bring an upbeat positive attitude to the campers. This is a leadership role- You are motivating elementary school students to be their creative best.
- Be available for paid camp training.
- Help clean up spaces, put things in the right place etc.
About You
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- You are a leader.
- You are responsible and reliable.
- A current college student, or have a Bachelor's/Associate's degree.
- Have some experience working with children
- Have a science/education background or is interested in science/teaching
- Have strong communication skills
- Ability to work well with your colleague
- Be a role model for younger students by showing up on time, being positive and enthusiastic about work.
- Ability to provide negative TB test results
- Ability to clear FBI & DOJ fingerprinting
- Provide COVID vaccination report
The nitty gritty
- You need to be available for work from June 3- August 9.
- We are flexible. Full time and part time hours possible
- You will be working in different cities every week-Pleasanton, San Ramon, Dublin, Danville and Walnut Creek.
